Synopsis

After Alice walks through a mirror, she is transported into a magical land where she goes on an adventure, encountering interesting and whimsy characters including; the White Rabbit, the White and Red Queens, The Mad Hatter, The March Hare, Tweedle Dee and Dum, The Chesire Cat, a Caterpillar, Humpty Dumpty, and everyone’s favorite, The Queen of Hearts, while learning about herself and what society expects of her as a young lady.

This dramatic rendering by Alice Gerstenberg of ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ based on “Through The Looking Glass” and “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll, was produced by The Players Producing Company of Chicago (Aline Barnsdall and Arthur Bissel), at the Fine Arts Theatre, February 11, 1915. After a successful run it opened at the Booth Theatre, New York City, March 23, 2015. It ran for 23 performances on Broadway.
